Every Custodian Warden has spent a year in silent contemplation on the ledges of the Gallowtower writing the oaths he'll die before breaking — and it shows. These are the immovable sentinels of the Adeptus Custodes, a living wall of auramite and sinew that stands where lesser warriors would break. Drape them in their ceremonial robes, hand them a guardian spear or a castellan axe, and you've got one of the most characterful, jaw-droppingly detailed elite units in all of 40k.
